Serious electrical problem on my 2006 330xi

Hey guys, long time lurker but finally an official member as of today.

I had a really weird thing happen to me yesterday while I was driving. My windshield wipers would not shut off, they would only go faster. I got the mirror pinch error on my dash. When I parked my car, they wipers would not turn off even when the car was off, and there was a loud whirling sound from the passenger side of the engine bay, like something was running. My car would not lock, and the back windows would not roll down. So I'm standing there, looking at my car, making all kinds of noise, with the wipers going out of control. My car looked like it was possessed by the devil.

So, after a few minutes to wipers stopped but they are in the up position. I reset my battery a few times, up to three hours. The car is locking/unlocking currently, but all of those other things that I mentioned are still not working. I really don't want to spend even more money as I've already spent more than half its value at the stealership in the last three months. Is there a way I could figure out/solve this problem?

    Thank you all!

I finally had an opportunity to check for faults and here's what I came up with:

2F80/not present DME: Engine switch-off time, plausibility
2DED/present DME: Power management, closed-circuit current violation

5EBA/not present DSC: Steering-angle sensor, plausibility
94BB/not present DSC: Steering=angle sensor, internal fault

931 A/not present FRM: Tail lamp, right 1, faulty, E92/93: daytime driving light, right, faulty

A6CA/present JBE: Switch-on relay for windscreen wipers
A6CB/not present JBE: Changeover relay for windscreen wipers
A6DB/present JBE: Power-window relay (opening), driver's side, rear
A6DA/present JBE: Power-window relay (closing), driver's side, rear
A6D9/present JBE: power window relay (open) rear passenger side
A6D8/present JBE: power window relay (close) rear passenger side
A6D4/not present JBE: Central-locking relay, locking
A6D6/not present JBE: Central-locking relay, double locking
A6D7/not present JBE: Central-locking relay, selective unlocking
A6CA/present JBE: Switch-on relay for windscreen wipers
A6CB/not present JBE: Changeover relay for windscreen wipers

Is there any chance this could have happened because a mechanic messed up installing a tail light?

Either way, can I fix it on my own or do I need to take it to BMW?

A seemingly unrelated question, but - how old is your battery? BMWs sometimes get really weird errors when the battery is failing. I have my doubts whether this is the case, but it's worth asking.

Also, try to stay away from the dealer and find a good indy shop. You're spending extra at dealer labor rates.

+1 on the battery, my 2004 330ci had odd faults like not rolling up the windows, and dash lights coming on all of a sudden when the battery started to go out.

Any way to test this out without buying a new battery?
