The M got a new bunk mate.

Well I traded the Mclaren in on a 2015 991 GT3 and couldn't be happier. Way too many drawbacks to Mclaren ownership...I did sort of a full review if anyone is interested, but in the meantime here are a few photos.

Funny: scaling it back to a more socially accepted GTS3

Say, are those center-lock wheels? Serious!

They're about as centered that locks can get on wheels, as far as I can tell. The only way they get any more centered would force their lock to be compromised - buhleev dat, homie.

Man, dang this topic. Just as I was getting ready to sell my 997.2 Turbo to fund a fun side thing, you made me feel that pang of idiocy that is Pcar ownership. Sure, not as raw, or whatever. But still. Maaaaan, making my life hard. #blessed #firstworldproblems #spoiledbratneedsbuttkicking #timemschineto2015

grats on the car purchase. Rear wheel drive and a real fast blast, both good things.

I was frustrated with reliability (I had $35-40k in warranty work in 18 months), cost of warranty renewal ($5k annually), parts availability (was in service several times for 4-6 weeks), service times, service costs ($2200 for an oil change, filters, and brake flush last time), hassle of getting it to Houston for service. After scratching the exotic itch with a Lambo and the Mclaren, I think I just would rather drive a Porsche, and of course my M Coupe.

Wow, congrats for picking up the GT3. They are a beautiful car, and I've never read a negative thing about the quality of construction, driving dynamics or overall capabilities.

    Happy motoring!

I use to have a name at work. I'm now #10416903. I am fortunate enough to have TWO 18 year old cars though. Sigh. #onelotterywinawayfromquittingmyjob

Ask Fernando Alonzo. He might have an opinion...
