Hello every one. New to the forums and was hoping to get some help. I have a 2011 328i base model. I noticed the other day that i have a dipped beam warning light and both low beams will not work. After much research I couldn't find a lot on the subject. So far I have checked both bulbs and fuses and everything seems ok but the lights will not come on. High beams work as well as angel eyes and parking lights. So looking at the car head on, both inside lights work, both outside lights do not. Any suggestions? Am I missing something? This is my first BMW and I haven't had it very long so I'm sill learning about it.
What do you mean by you checked the bulbs? Did you actually get a new bulb, and stick it in place of the old one? Or did you just pull the bulb out and look at it?

Pulled them out and looked. I didn't think both would go out at the same time but I guess it could happen.By the way they looked perfect.
Only way to know for sure is maybe powering them up with some jumper wires and a battery, or by measuring the resistance across the terminals. You could also use a multimeter and check for power at the connectors for the bulbs.

Thanks guys. It apparently was some loose connectors. Both of them. I changed the bulbs and nothing. I then checked to see if I was getting power to the connectors and I was. At that point I was dumbfounded. So I thought what the hell and popped the new bulbs back in and they worked. So I'll be changing the connectors soon.

Thank for your help White94RX. So I changed the bulbs and still didn't work. I then checked to make sure I had power to the connectors and I did. At this point I was dumbfounded so I thought "what the hell" and put the new bulbs back in and they came on! I figured it may be loose connectors so it looks like I will be changing them out soon.
Glad you got it fixed.
