I recently had a M-Tech rear decklid spoiler painted and would like to install it on my 6er. My car does not have it originally so this is an add-on. Does anyone know who in the DC Metro area can and will be able to install it properly? I don't like the idea of drilling holes in the trunk unless there are better alternatives. I have asked a few places including a local BMW dealer (body shop) and all are hesitant to take on the job. Any ideas?

I've not seen this tape fail, and I've used it on multiple cars:
I used it on the rear spoiler on my 635, although it's the older version - no holes in the trunk lid:
Trial fit and carefully mark your final position, and get some help when you place it, as there will be no chance to readjust it once the tape makes contact. If the paint is clean and free of wax, the spoiler isn't coming off.

Thanks guys for the inputs. So the main concern is possible water leakage into the trunk if you drill it appears. I wouldn't mind the tape if it's a strong as dcains says but I do worry if the adhesive fails, the last thing I need is for the piece to land on someone's windshield much less just losing it. I'm gonna drop by the body shop mentioned above and see what can do.
This spoiler was applied with the same tape, about 7 years ago. Quite a few track days, with 120mph+ runs, and it's still there. It actually needs to be repainted, as some of the paint has bubbled, and I'm not looking forward to what's required to get it off.

I used 3M strip caulk around the edges to prevent water from getting under and sitting there. I also put a collar of strip caulk around each screw/fastener to seal the hole.

Short story: Before I knew how to do a lot of stuff, took my 635 to a shop to change out the front struts. Guy started and the owner arrived and promptly made him put everything back together............the owner said " this is a BMW and BMW owners are never happy with the job others do, I don't touch them".
This is a simple job. When complete, place some 3M strip caulk along the top edge and around each hole to stop water. I have 2 e24's and water pools at the junction of the trunk and spoiler and slowly gets under the spoiler and around the screws and rusts starts.
