I'm trying to figure out if I should buy these or not. They are ET20 and are Powertech wheels (?). I can't seem to find any info on these wheels. Does anyone know if these are good quality? He wants $550 for tires and wheels (shipping included). Also is the ET a problem? Thanks for any thoughts you have.
Based purely on aesthetics, I'd pass. However you haven't provided enough information to determine fitment.
Size: Diameter x width
Bolt pattern: I assume 4x100
Centerbore: Must be 57.1 mm or larger with centering rings
Offset: et20

The rears might fit OK. The fronts won't without a spacer and possibly a fender roll. When people want to run really wide tires, I usually recommend they spend some time browsing this thread. http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=83125

wasn't there something out there for fit guides?
Something this close to the edge is likely to be an adventure to fit, run, set up camber/alignment, etc. If you do jump in on them, just figure you'll have more follow-on work to get it all to go ok.
That's waaaaay too much wheel and tire, even for an S14-powered car. Also it may just be the photo, but it looks like the front tires are stretched. Bad aesthetics aside, I can't support stretched tires from a safety standpoint.

well that is a pretty overwhelming 'no'....thanks for the feedback.
But just because it's a big wheel/bigger tires doesn't mean its heavier, right? I was under the impression these were possibly light/high performance wheels. All I could find about powertech was this guy selling them for $1300:That's waaaaay too much wheel and tire, even for an S14-powered car.

Leads me to the bigger issue of how I assess wheels based on specs (specifically weight)...seems like manufacturers don't really give much info on weight.
In general, more metal and less tire means heavier wheel. Again in general, smaller wheel diameters give an overall lower wheel & tire assembly weight. Tire Rack usually list the weight of the wheels they sell.
