    E36 Custom Radiator?

Anyone know of someone who will make a drop-in aluminum radiator for an E36 and allow for customization?

I'd be happy with a Mishimoto if they had an option for both the inlet and outlet on the passenger side, but they won't do customization.

    Thanks.

Kind of hard to interpret your reply with the questions marks. Zionsville and PRW will make a customized drop in radiator? Or you're guessing they might?

Chasebays is almost done with a tucked radiator with both ports on the passenger side.
I run a circle track Griffin, which I had some custom brackets made for.

Just throwing other names out there, as you seem to have only checked with one.
The problem with inlet / outlet same side is actual cooling. Are you hoping to find an off the shelf multi-pass with inlet / outlet same side.…that offers square are = to your displacement?

You would pay a lot for a totally custom radiator. Just buy an off the shelf and make mounts or pay a tig welder to add them. A bunch of companies make same side inlet outlet radiators, for as little as about $200. I think you want 22x18 or maybe 24x18 but you have to decide exactly where and how you are mounting and factor in the end tank dimensions that could add1.5 to 3.0 each side depending on brand. You will have to do the leg work on this. I looked into it about 10 years ago.

Yes, I was hoping to find a double pass with inlet and outlet on the pax side, that's drop in ready. FSR will make something that fits (26X19X3) but I'll have to fabricate brackets. I guess that's the best option.

    Thanks for the feedback.

…and yes you will most likely have to fabricate brackets, but those could be designed by mocking up a radiator as well. Keep in mind there is generally a surface area to cubic inch displacement correlation that will come into any ground up design
