    somebodies gonna get hurt...

    ...on acceleration car will suddenly go limp sputter and eventually die..but even at 50mph turn it off and restart and off I go.
    gotta be electrical I'm thinking vs injector...new fuel filter no change. ideas please? thx john
    this is an intermittent issue.

    Sounds like symptom of a bad maf sensor. Any code? Unplug the maf sensor and drive, if it drives fine without maf sensor, then maf is your problem.
