96 328i Rk tuned.

Hey guys I have a 96 BMW 328i. Car has a Rk tune reflash thanks to Jordan at RK. I have a A/C delete, PS delete, and CAI. I've had an intermittent starting issue since before the tune with codes p0170 p0173 p1188 and p1189 all fuel related CEL's. But after the tune I got CEL P0601. Something having to do with internal memory? I just wanted to know if it was a serious code car runs great performance wise. It's just the hard starts and CELs that scare me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Car also does surge during idle, I believe it's unrelated to the CEL's I think it's air in my brake line and a small vacum leak because when I pump my breaks constantly it idles steady.

Ask RK tunes if he corrected the Checksums on the tune.

So, um, what have you done to fix all the lean codes? You bought a tune, when you have a car that only idles well when you keep pumping the brakes?

Hmmm.... P/S delete, A/C delete, Oiled cone, MAF destroying, water sucking, hot air kit. Tune that sets codes.

Have you considered that you're going backwards?

My best suggestion would be to fix the power steering, the a/c, and the intake leaks, put on the stock airbox. Then have someone fix the tune.

How can you ignore all the intermittent starting issues and codes, and still proceed with a tune?
Chris is right, your vehicles condition seems to be headed backwards,
as you seem to be attacking performance issues in reverse order.
