Scan tool for 1998 thru 2010 BMW's

Any suggestions? not interested in a Advanced Auto scanner. Looking for something more like what BMW service places use. I am an individual that is buying and selling BMW's and looking for a good diagnostic tool that will cover most all bases. Thanks for help in advance

If you are regularly buying and selling BMW's, I would be using Carly for BMW Pro, which has a "used car check" feature that will display any inconsistencies in modules (i.e. modules that have been replaced but which have not been correctly coded to the vehicle), true mileage, average speed at which the car has been driven since new etc., as well as giving you a wireless dealer-level diagnostic tool with some coding capabilities. The app is available for both iOS and Android devices and the manufacturer provides regular updates.
