    Brake light socket seems worn . . .

    so the circuit board is part of the tail light and i have to buy a new tail list lens/ circuit board ?

    there is power to the circuit board but there
    is bad contact to the lamp holder.

    i replaced the lamp holder same thing.

    anyone else run into this ?

    The circuit board can have some light oxide, you can use some very fine sandpaper to clean the contact area.

    One of my lights has a hole in the circuit board where the lamp holder contact meets. I think this is a common issue. I've tried to fill the hole with solder and wrap in foil. No brake light warning messages so far.
