Just looking to see if any other 8'ers might be going to the Legends of the Autobahn and or the Festorics gathering next month in Monterey, CA?
Aug 18-20. I'll probably be do Legends on Friday only.
Thanks
Dan
As of today, I know of three of us plus you = 4. Possibly one more local CSI owner. If you go into the website for the Legends, or Festorics you can see some that have registered. Perhaps we can coordinate a meetup so we can park together. Last year there were 24 cars that met up here behind my home.
Mike, yes I was part of the 24 car caravan that met up with everyone at your place. Keep me posted with your group times and plans. Thanks, Dan
I'll be there. I anticipate I'm included in Mike's count.
I need to dust off the 8 and do some maintenance checks on my garage Queen.
FWIW, Owning a Tesla Model S, P85D has 2 qualities that have detracted me from putting mileage on my 8. The qualities are: 0-60 mph in 3.2 sec and there is no gas bill following me home after a road trip.
SoCalEights is not planning a run up this year, probably next year.
Bump. This was the only thread I could find regarding Legends and a possible meetup. Fairly new to the forum and interested in meeting with others.
Coming down from Sacramento on Friday for the day so if anyone up here is interested in driving down early AM, let me know. Jon

I might show up to this. Would need to join the CCA prior to.
I just want to take Highway 1.
What "thumbs up" really means
If I wanted to do just the Festorics on Saturday with the corral package is it $145 plus $20 registration or just $145? I'm a CCA member.
Yep, Registration & Event cost, $165. If you bring a guest I would suggest a Hospitality Pass ($20) for them..of course they need a race ticket also.
The Registration fees pay for the cost of coordinating the efforts; Postage for the event package, paid staff, etc.
I anticipate at this late date all registrations will be will-call, typically at the Embassy Suites in Seaside.

Any 8'rs coming that would like to meet up, and go to the show together. Plan to meet at 7:30 - 8:00 AM at the Realty lot on the S/E corner of HWY 68 and Corral de Tierra Rd. It is just a few miles to the Nicklaus Club, (Pasadera).
PS; The Werks reunion, (Porsche) is at the Corral de Tierra CC. until 4PM, For those who are interested.
Is there an option to buy a guest race ticket or do I need to get one through the Mazda track site?
Do you have to have a BMW to park in the BMW corral?
Taylor Patterson, Gary Corcoran and myself will be there as well; for offcial business and leisure purposes with BMW. Looking forward to seeing everyone again.
