Here is the one I ordered for my car: http://www.autoanything.com/car-covers/60A1012A0A0.aspx

I spent quite a bit of time reading and came to the decision of this being the best choice for my climate. You can read more about it here: https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/s...stom-Car-Cover

Others have used the OEM cover (has a window for the license plate if you park on the street) as detailed here:

    Hope this helps!

I am 2 years into the OEM cover as mentioned in a link to a thread above (I was the thread starter). It's held up pretty good so far (aside from the stupid cats clawing at the corners). It can use a washing, but other than that, it's still solid. It will probably need replacing next year, but it does keep the car fairly well protected in the weather (it's stored outside). I did get 3 "that's original paint?!?" at the last cars and coffee I went to, so would have to say the cover is doing it's job.

Just checked and still a good price at ECS - https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...r/82111470382/

The climate here is generally a lot of sun/high UV index with a few weeks of rain. That site in my earlier post has a chart for determing your cover needs.

The cover I linked to is of a more modern construction and materials and has a 5 year warranty. It was only around $30 more than the OEM cover.

The cover is nice, but I have not had a chance to really use it for an extended period yet. You could also buy a cheap universal cover and replace it every year - not a terrible idea as no cover is really designed to last past the 5-7 year mark.
