Going bonkers over getting a new battery

Walmart Everstart 48-3 700CCA ~$65 comes with vent kit 2/7 year warranty
    MAXX-48 700CCA ~$75
    AutoZone Duralast 48-DL 700CCA ~$96

These all are supposed to work but are not available anymore. If I give any store a call they ask for what type of car and give me a near $200 battery option. I want something less than $100 because I know it is possible.

Maybe in 2017 less than $100 is not possible anymore? If so, what is the cheapest battery for the E46 non-convertible (2000 323CI).

Good luck with that my agm battery for my 1996 BMW r1100gs motorcycle was $160.00. The days of low cost battery's were over along time ago

A sealed battery with no vent will work. The reason the BMW battery is vented is that it's in the trunk, which is a confined space. A battery under the hood would not need to be vented.

So go buy a battery already. It's not a religious experience, trust me.

I used an AutoZone H8 AGM battery. Should be set for the next 6 years.
