Crazy how much bigger the header piping is compared to us long tubes.

Man, even at idle that sounds rowdy. I am excited for more videos.

Did you guys drill out the threads on the racelands, or are just jamming the bolt to keep it from loosening? My racelands that I just installed had threaded holes for the bolts.

The only thing we had to do actually was notch the motor mount arm.

Drone is medium. If it gets too annoying then we'll install these:

Well I decided to try my hand straightening out some of the dents (not on the tip

    Before

    )

    After

I'm wondering if it will still be an issue?

I think you should try it.
Or get a pipe expander from autozone and see id it would fix just the tip.
Worse case scenario you could just cut the flanges on and use band clamps to mate mid and exhaust since they should be similar diameter.
Or weld them together which isn't my favorite option but most new bmw exhaust are muffler straight to mid/header connection and the euro mid is easy to unbolt since it doesn't curve upwards

My other option is to return it for a full refund, and get a scorpion rear muffler.

They offered me a euro sport, but with turner shipping things from Ohio with the idiots from ECS I don't feel like risking it again.

If the flange has a matching bevel, which it seems to, I would put it in a vice loosely and pull the tube down with the flange resting on the top of the vise, the tube between the jaws, and use a ballpeen hammer to shape the dent back into the flange. If you go slow, you should be able to bang it to a nice tight fit. It shouldn't be an "exhausting" job. They should give you a discount for keeping it though.

It's being shipped back today. I'll most likely go with a scorpion exhaust, or a used euro ss sport exhaust.

Well sourcing a rear euro specish muffler has proven to be a bit difficult. Looks like I have 3 options.

    1. Buy a scorpion euro m3 muffler, and install it with the euro ss race mid pipes.
    2. Return mid pipes to turner/return headers to raceland, and go with cx racing full exhaust setup which uses shortie header with a y pipe into a 3inch exhaust.
    3. Sell everything, and pretend this never happened.

They could so easily have bolted the ends to a piece of wood. Suggest that to the morons.

Here's what mine looked like. It was 'packaged' and shipped direct from SuperSprint. Plastic and bubble wrap only. Seems that after 8+ years, they still haven't learned.

Am still steamed, but appreciate that Eurosport Design (the retailer) took care of matters. Of the two replacement pieces, only one was boxed and it traveled from Europe to LA, then to Maui.

    LOL

Why not modify some US Spec exhaust to fit the euro mid?
Maximum PSI did that for a customer not too long ago.

Just run something like what I have. Long tube headers going into a modified Bimmerworld S54 adapter pipe, into the Part B part of the AA track pipe, then the AA rear exhaust section. Obviously you can substitute whatever you want for the back section....

My car is in a different state then where I live , so if I were to attempt to do the install it would be done sometime in 2021.
