60MM spring perch on OEM Strut Mount

Is it possible to mount 60MM upper coilover spring perch to an OEM strut mount? Or MUST you use camber plates? I have the Camber I want so I really don't need the camber plate for any other reason.

If the CO upper spring perch is machined for you specific strut shaft, then yes. Might need a spacer between spring ‘hat’ and the inner bearing of the strut mount.

Yes, but this is frequently a really bad solution. Why? Because the stock strut hats are designed for stock springs on perches that give the spring additional working room. This means that if you're not careful, you'll end up much more likely to block the coilover springs at a given ride height. This results in a bad ride, and ultimately, torn strut towers. Unless you're planning to run the car really high, don't do it.

It's not that you can't do it. You just need to assume that you'll run the car an inch or so higher than you might with camber plates. Most folks do not like that.
