iDrive display not working, but can hear radio and use voice commands

i have a 2004 645ci- the idrive/control center is not working properly. there is no video display but I can hear the radio. I can also use the voice commands to change the station. when i start the car, i do see the 'BMW' visual pop up in the display, but the immediately shuts off and the screen goes blank. it seems to be a short, but i have no idea

Hello and welcome to the forum! From what I remember reading, this may be a CCC error and needing replacement. Are you able to pull the module yourself or are you taking it to the dealer?

Hi and thank you for the reply! I really appreciate your time responding to this.
I know the dealer will be very pricey, so if this is something trivial to do myself perhaps thats the better option. Can you recommend where I can get a CCC module?
