Pretty damn cool, thanks for sharing!
Beautiful! Very inspiring!
Oh good lord! I can appreciate every single detail there. A car after my own heart... truly. A set of euroweaves would also look great on it in addition to the ACS's. Great build man.
Absolutely love it!
wow
why call it an M2? was this done before the real M2's came out?

Looks very much like my previous Datsun RL411,
without the badges and in Red.They would both look sweet, side by side, in my garage!

M2 has become a pretty common nickname for a 2002 with an S14 engine; I like to think of it as kind of a "what-if" story if BMW had decided on a high-revving NA ///M variant of the 2002 instead of the 2002 turbo
Also, BMW has been connecting the 2 series with the old '02s with their recent M2 based "2002 hommage"
I love your builds and glad to see another one
I do feel a little confused on this one though. Maybe the M2 badges were an afterthought? There has never been an M car with decals like these 2.3 decals before - personality seems a little split here, does it want to be a "2002 2.3" or an "M2"? Maybe M decals on the side and front lip would have fit the M thing better or conversely, just plucking the M2 badges off and going with the "2.3" theme. I know I'm nitpicking but that's only because all your builds are so close to perfection I've seen complete and cohesive themes in all your past builds, love this car and love the build and I love those 2.3 decals and the red accent pinstripe. I just don't think the M2 badges are needed on this puppy, to me they take away from the car not add to it. The picture of it driving down the road, the car looks great, you can see the red accents and the 2.3 decals tieing the side and front together and that makes the M2 badge stick out to me like a sore thumb.
But if all people can say bad about your car is they don't think the badges are proper then you are definitely doing something right...
Food for thought

Really, truly beautiful build. But, I would lose the M2 moniker. I have a 1995 E34 540i with built a 4.9L M62, and would never use M badges. But, that is just me. Congrat's on great build.

That's rad man!
@slowprogress
This is outstanding. You've nailed the build on the car.
Personally, I love the M2 badges...it's fun.
My point is they are better (more modded) than M cars.
