This guy is an idiot. Doesn't know accurate specs for these cars (290hp stock US E36 M3???), is doing top speed runs on public roads (it appears), and thinks that you'd only drive a pre-2000 BMW if you have "no shame".

I agree with TostitoBandito.
I have both an E36 and E46 M3. I love both cars for different reasons. For example, the E36 feels like a glove stock when the E46 has an amazing engine but I recommend changing the suspension to get the E36 feeling of knowing the corners of the car.
I also struggle to agree with the video that they are expensive to maintain. Compared to a Honda, yes, but if you take care of either one then they are perfectly reasonable for what they are…not a Honda.
