Help Please with my 1992 850!
Problem 1: drivers side door key locks both doors when turned clockwise, but then the doors unlock then the ket is turned back to center.
Problem 2: Once the doors are locked by the passenger door our manual button, if I turn the driver side door key counter clockwise (to unlock the doors) both doors unlock, but all the windows also go down.
Possible relevant info: I bought the car this way, so I don't know whats "normal". I can lock the doors my pushing the lock down from inside the car and the passenger key lock works. Gas door lock is not working. Under hood light does not light (bulb good). I bought an after market key with remote door luck that will not program (I can't get it to do anything). The car has 65,000 miles on it. Batteries go dead in about two weeks of not driving.
doors: microswitches and Genreral module (search froum for both)
since it drains the battery: start with general module repair (GM II), most likely

If you turn your key to the extreme left and hold it, it should unlock the doors and roll the windows down--
It sounds like your microswitch in the door lock is sticking, or that the wire from it to the door module is shorted. In the interim, you can probably disconnect your driver's door module. (You'll have to lock/unlock/disarm the car from the passenger side)
I'll fix your GM though, shoot me a PM

sounds a lot like the passenger door lock actuator solenoid is bad.
