    Hardtop noise

Any one have a part number for the rubber square or snubbers that mount on the windshield header that helps alleviate the knocking noise from the hardtop near the j hooks? Can't find it anywhere

The part numbers for the small square pad is 54348174312

They won't stop the noise.... if the front hooks rattle/knock, the only way to stop the noise is new latches for the hooks to go into.

The depth of the hooks are adjustable. This may help your knocking.

True, they are adjustable, but whether or not this has any effect on reducing the noise depends on how worn the rollers in the windshield latches are - which is most often the source of the noise.

They easiest way to fix the noise is just to replace the latches. Trust me, I tried everything over a period of 18 months and this is what finally worked for my car.

As a quick fix, I wrapped the rollers in electrical tape. Stopped knocking until I can find replacement rollers
