iPod Not Supported?

Yesterday I bought a new iPod Touch to keep in my car for music and using bmw connected apps. When I first set up the iPod, I connected it to my car's USB port and everything worked as it should, connected apps loaded on the iDrive system and my music was showing up in the media section of the system. Later, I went on to update my iPod with the rest of my music only to get a device not supported error message on my iDrive system when I reconnected it. Has anyone else run into a similar problem?

I've heard of this happening; I believe it required the idrive system also needing an update to support this. I would confirm this with other members as well.

I guess I'll call BMW and ask if there's an update available, thanks for your response!

So I ended up doing a factory reset on my iPod and re-selected the music from the beginning and now it works
