Question about a 7 series I saw for sale...

I saw a CL posting for a 2004 7 series, and they said that it runs well for about an hour and then it starts acting up and you have to restart it and it will run fine again. I inquired about the mileage, as it wasn't listed, and what the symptoms are when it acts up. I will post this information when I get it, however, I was wondering if anyone might have any ideas about what could be wrong with the car based on that description. I want to get one of these beautiful boats lol. I will update as soon as I hear back from the seller. Not sure if I'm allowed to post links to CL in here, so if I am, I will gladly post the ad for anyone to look at and see if they can tell me any info.

Buying any used 7 series that you know already has problems is not usually a good idea. There's nothing worse than a cheap BMW. Especially when it comes to pre-facelifted (02-05) 7's
