Looking to buy a salvaged 745Li, question...

There is a salvaged 2004 745Li available near me for really cheap and by the looks of it, the only damage to it is the passenger side front door. I was thinking of buying it and then going to a pull a part and getting the entire door assembly and replacing it myself. I have a few questions, though. First, what adjacent years would I be able to pull the door off and put on this 2004? Secondly, how difficult would this be to pull off? I really want this vehicle, she's a beauty.

I believe 2002-2005. As far as removal and replacement, Im about to do the same thing I had a deer run into my driver door. It really doesn't look that difficult. You've got the hinges and the door shock and the wiring coupler. As far as I know that's it.
