Fuel Pressure Regulator

Does anyone know where the fuel pressure regulator is for a '97 M3/4? Does anyone have a diagram from the shop manual?

It is located under the car just in front of the fuel filter. It is a small round metal object. It is on the drivers side roughly near your feet would be when in the car. You will need to remove a metal protector panel to gain full access.

I have a European M3 3,2L. As far as I know, my fpr and yours are the same.
Mine is located under the fuel rail, right in front of the 6th cylinder.
To get it out is a big job.

But it is made of plastic, so you cannot push the fpr tighter to increase the fpr pressure above 3,5 bar. If it was made of metal you could have squezzed it to increase fpressure.

Only the M/S50US engines have the fuel pres. reg. mounted on the fuel rail. Or the european engines. I believe that his is a US spec S52 so it will be under the car.
