    Xenon Lights STOLEN

I've just had my pants pulled down by BMW due to someone stealing my xenon bulb, control unit and various other parts from one of the headlight units.

Has anyone ever had theirs stolen and been able to recover any cost from BMW due to the easy access through wheelarch?

I don't think you'd get far trying to sue BMW because of the access. After all, anyone can come by with a flat bed/winch and steal your entire car. It's up to you to figure out security.

Get a bigger wheel and don't make it easy on thieves?
Not so much a signature as a cry for help.

Hold on, saw this in a cartoon once...think I can pull it off.

I think my dealership would cover it. Definitely ask about it.

    Check your car insurance.
If your car (or equipment/goods inside your car) is stolen, you should make a claim to recover the costs. Because your car insurance company will have to pay out on this claim,* you'll likely experience a rate increase. Note that even living in an area with high crime rates can increase your premiums. The more likely you are to become a victim of auto-related crime, the more risk you present to your auto insurance provider. Higher risk means higher rates.
    * You'll need comprehensive coverage to file a claim for theft.

    Really? BMW's fault. Please.
File an insurance claim, pay your deductible and find a better place to park.

I don't comprehend how it's BMWs fault for you being caught with your pants down,
due to thievery. It is your responsibility to park your vehicle in a safe environment,
Not a manufacturer or dealership. Up your insurance coverage or purchase/lease a secure garage.

    1999 M3, 1999 Z3M Coupe,
    The manufacturer's fault?! 🤦*♂️

This is what car insurance is for. Further to that a secure parking facility or other measures at your residence to deter/prevent future issues.
