A Little Help Regarding Switching Tire Types...

I apologize for asking what is probably a dead horse beating question, but I'm out of my element with the X1.

So so my mother drives a 2014 X1 x35i M Sport line, and has somehow managed to get onto a set of four run flats that are all worn out but at very different mileages. Don't ask me how. So, question is, she is looking to switch to full size tires (non run flats), and has the 19" optioned wheels - what sizes would we be looking at installing? Any particular brands/models that are a fan favorite around these parts?

    thanks for any help.

Hello - you would get the same size tires as she has now. Run flats just have a different material within the tire, but sizes are the same.

    Runflats suck.
worse ride, heavier, wear funky, louder, stiffer, more expensive...
All for the convenience of driving with a flat.
Do yourself a favor and get a portable compressor and can of tire slime OR a donut spare and ditch the terrible runflat tires.
as far as size goes get the same as your running now

Cool, that's what I had thought but was told to check with the community to see if there was general consensus regarding the "best" tire sizing.

Anyhoo, thanks for the answers, and being helpful without any of the condescending attitudes the internet is known for. I'll take her X1 in to get some new tires in the next couple of days. Please, if you have any suggestions on best bang for your buck tire brands, feel free to let me know. I'm so used to just saying "Pilot Sports" that I sometimes forget they might not be the most cost effective option for daily driving a crossover SUV wagon... thing 20k miles a year.

Take it easy, guys and gals.
