Help with correct adhesive for rear top seals

I'm preparing to replace my top and I'm trying to make sure I've got everything lined up. On the top, the rear gasket (54318135273) and window seals (54318204149/54318204150) are joined together with a specific glue. As this join flexes every time you operate the top, it's pretty critical to get right. Does anyone know what that glue is?

Are you replacing the rear seal? Just curious as I'm planning out the same project. I plan to use industrial grade solvent contact cement for the glue. I have some DAP Landau Top & Trim that I got from an upholstery shop for an interior project. I've read that 3M 8090 will work too and I think you can pick that up at Amazon or order from one of the local auto part stores.

A number of years back I had the join between the rear gasket and window seals fail. I ordered a new rear gasket but when I went to install it, I realized the rear window seals also needed to be replace. At the time I wasn't ready to drop $500 on new seals. However I did find a reference to the correct glue. Now that I'm ready to do those seals, I can't find where that information came from. I'm almost certain it was from a BMW source.

Well I found the answer in TIS document RA (Repair Information) 5431020. The answer is Loctite 380.

Thanks for posting that. Looks like Amazon carries it but a bit pricey for 1 oz adhesive. I know I need to replace the rear seal. Hoping the side seals are still good since they are very expensive. Can I ask what top you chose to use?

Haven't bought yet. Looking at topsonline.com though. There's a 3g package of the Loctite 380 around for the adhesive. Do a google shopping search. Be very careful separating the old rear seal from the side seals. Try a google image search on the side seal part number to get an idea of the attachment point.
