I noticed yesterday there's like a ball of vacuum hoses hanging down under my car in the middle near the exhaust
i need to get it up off the ground, but I won't have time for a few days. Just want to make sure it's nothing important
I assume it might be for the vacuum actuated exhaust valve which isn't on my car (SuperSprint now)

Yes that's it. Noise valve in the right stock tailpipe.
I would pull the hose through from inside the trunk.

Fuel, brake and exhaust vacuum line are in the location under the driver's seat. Also the O2 sensor wires.
There is only 1 vacuum line there. If you are seeing a bundle of stuff you better check it out quick.
I think it's one line wrapped in a bundle... it must have been stuffed up there and I didn't see it. It looks like the same black vacuum line with a blue line on it that I remember seeing once before.

Oh under your driver's seat!? That's funny.
Unless PO wanted to take it completely out or something. Which is pretty unnecessary.

Sometime previous owners just zip tie rubbish to the bottoms of cars to make people worry

yeah, it's not the O2 sensors.
How long is that vacuum line? Where does it terminate towards the front anyway? Wondering if I can just yank it from the front terminus and cap it.

I'll look at mine when I get home, since my exhaust is not installed it should be pretty easy. most likely the exhaust line feeds off the line that provides vac for the fuel system.
thanks. I'm just curious how far it goes so I can remove it from where ever its dangling

I just went under, and there are no vac lines under there. Only hard lines for fuel and brake. That line for the exhaust goes up into the trunk.

That vacuum line terminates in the engine bay at the vacuum cannister. The cannister is on the lower part of the firewall near the starter. It's a black plastic cylinder about 6" long and 3" diameter. If you remove it all the way to that cannister you'll need to plug the other tube that attaches to the cannister OR remove that one. Trace that one back to a plastic T. Remove the T and your tube. Use a straight barbed fitting to join the remaining tubes together
