Need to install some gauges either inside the glove box or remove the MID and use custom bezel to mount them there, was looking around yesterday could not really see where I can tap into interior through engine bay...any tips?
Also closest easiest ignition switchable power supply? Is it radio power supply?

For the Wideband O2 I used one of the grommets on the passenger side inner fender, it leads right behind the passenger side glove box. I tapped the radio for 12V switched.
I was working in that space just yesterday (with the glove box removed) and did not see an obvious pass through but the bulk head is cloaked in sound deadening material in that area.
If you can route your wires to the driver side there is a nice hole right by the brake booster (for a clutch actuator I believe so maybe only applicable to auto) and from there it is easy to snake wires above the padals and into the center console.

Thanks guys, after further consideration I think I will secure(not sure how yet) AFR gauge in the left corner of the speedo cluster and boost gauge in the right corner, they are not very large and fit the depth very well just barely obstructing some idiot lights.
So the power will be tapped from the car stereo, thanks for the tip rotomoto, sounds like the easiest way to get to that area would be through the hole by the brake booster, I took a look, could not see it, is it below or above it?
Also how hard is it to remove the speedo? never done it....
Hyper, the ebox you are referring to is ecu box??

You won't see it from the engine bay as it is hidden by the brake booster but drop the lower dash cover by the pedals and you will see it (to the lower left of the brake booster). Sorry I don't have a pic but passes through the bulkhead close to the lower fuel lines.
Instrument cluster is held in place by a couple screws on top as I remember, very easy to remove.
I have this on my M3, maybe it could be adapted?

Looked at some pics as well as compared images on real oem, E36 upper teering cover is very similar in shape to E31 cover. I think this will be a great fit!
If that works that would be awesome. It would surely save me the headache of having to fabricate a solution from scratch.
I discovered when replacing my brake booster that the PO installed a k40 radar sensor in the grill, the wires were run into the interior through a hole in the firewall underneath the brake booster. It looked like an existing hole that had a rubber stop in it. that might work for you, although it isn't easy to get to with the booster in.
Ordered the bracket 2 days ago, we shall see but it looks like a perfect fit.
wolfebrain I believe it's the same hole BMSman was talking about, that's the one I am planning on using.
Perfect fit with just a slight mod! Will wait for Alex and Steve to show up on Sat to install on the car... Super happy with this bracket!

What slight mod did you have to make?
