This looks like a big job ...oil pan on 2013 740Li Xdrive

Hello, I was looking to pull my oil pan this weekend but looks to be a bigger job than I thought.

Have any of you done this for 2013 740Li?

It looks like I need to drop the sub structure, which is more than I'm prepared to tackle, before I can get full access to the oil pan.

Am I correct, or is it possible to get the oil pan out safely without moving the substructure?

Dropping the subframe is a must. You cannot do the job otherwise. Not to mention pulling out the front axles, and completely removing the front differential. There's a reason why shops charge an arm and a leg for this job on an x-drive car. Honestly it's one of my least favorite jobs ever.
