hmmm...wonder if one of the X5 chrome acc'y exhaust trims would fit ??
Mine (525it) has the muffler with the large polished single outlet like the 2003 540 M-sport.... I wonder if they are the same muffler ? (meaning, you might be able to get a stock can from a 540 M being parted and cut it in...????)

Hi Carlova,
If you are definitely going to keep the non Sport bumper, then I'd suggest/urge/coerce you into doing the Alpina style exhaust mod as the single exit just looks 'weak sauce' !
I 'think' you can get the Alpina trim metal trim piece which protects the bumper from heat. It's 100% what I'd have done if I was keeping the non Sport bumper!
If you don't want to go to that level, take a look at the myriad of tips from Magnaflow and at a local dealer to you, by offering up some potential choices, you'll be able to see which ones can/will fit without much work etc.
Cheers, Dennis!
No suggestions but I do miss the chrome exhaust tips from BMWs of the 70s and 80s. Understated, but a nice classy look.

How did you get all the black trim white on your car? I think it looks great.
Agreed the large 4" tip looks great, however be aware that it may cook the paint around the bumper cutout over time. At least that what ended up happening on my 540iT when I had a 4" tip, now the paint around the circumference of my cutout is starting to peel off.
