I'm looking into a coding software and a CAN OBD2 Reader that connects to my computer. I've heard that NCS Expert but I can't find the software. Anybody have any recommendations for software and readers that connect to the computer?
NCS Expert is more like line coding, and you have to know which line to do.
Now for me, I like to use Progman, which gives you a list of options to turn on/off. The rub is you will need a Laptop with Windows XP Pro. I have a extra hard drive that I use in my Dell D830 for that, so I keep it off the network as to not worry about viruses or such.
What I would do is go over to the diagnostic software sub-forum and have a read:
