The point of a flex plate is to be able to flex with converter growth. Im not sure you'd want a billet unit

but talk to tci or someone that makes a sfi plate and see if they will sell you a blank unit

The pilot diameter in the crank is also wrong for a th400 converter pilot. So you either need a custom converter with a special pilot or an adapter. This is what I worked out for mine.

This uses an off the shelf chrysler hemi flexplate that has the bolt holes for a chevy converter. The crank adapter has the correct pilot diameter for a GM converter and the depth is also correct so I won't need a special converter. I wanted to be able to use any th400 converter without having to have a custom pilot. The first adapter plate and crank adapter is at the machine shop being cnc'd right now. I have someone else interested in getting another one made so if you are interested I can get a couple more made.

I was looking at my TCI plate yesterday and the middle is an adapter. So you could essesentially get a blank, and it would have a larger center whole that you could make an adapter with.
