    No 265 rear tires available...so should i go with 255 or 275?

Ordering new tires for the throwing stars. The two options I have read about for stock sizes (bridgestone potenzas & Toyos). They are either not available or on back order.

The problem seems to be the rear tires...so is it best to go slightly thinner with the 255 or slightly larger with 275?

You should stay as close as possible to the overall wheel diameter.

Use willtheyfit.com to calculate correct size.

Looks like 275/40 will work well for E31 wheel diameter.
