735 E32 drivers door lock problem

Hi guys, just tried to join and was reminded i was allready a member from a long time ago. Forgot i was a member of a forum..

Anyway, hope someone can help with my problem. I have searched but couldnt see anything on my specific issue although plenty about door lock problems.

Car is a 1990 735i RHD and ive had it about 3 years and its great.

Problem ive got is it wont lock/ unlock manually on the key from the drivers door, either just that door or activating the other doors on the central locking

If i use the key on the passenger side then that locks/ unlocks all the doors as normal including the driver door

Im hoping its a lock link rod but has anyone had this before and could maybe confirm this?
