E36 M3 with a 6 Speed?

E46 M3 is a better choice for arguably the same money.
You could also look at Z4's. They deliver more performance than E36/Z3, etc. Depending on your budget, the later Sdrive35 versions are very quick (and have retractable hard top) but are often overlooked by enthusiasts.

Looks like a factory covering is in place, there could be light/photo issues, car is in the shade and it is really sunny.
