Sell it or keep it forever?

Hello. I have an 06 750i sport with 123k. In the last five years it's required about 30k in maint. You name it, it's been fixed. Any common issue. Done. All of it. My warranty is up and the last repair was 3.5k. About what the car is worth.

I need a paint job and my ac compressor just went out. $500 to replace. Should be the last fkn thing to fix.

I'm done fixing this car. I like the idea to fix the compressor but a paint job or wrap costs more than the car is worth at this point.

What do you all think about the decision I need to make?

A very good friend is a top notch BMW tech. He owned an earlier model 750 and ended up selling it because it was so costly to keep up. My hunch is the newer models haven't become simpler in design or less costly to repair.

Lets see what other owners of the car have to say.
