    Losing power while driving?

So I own a 02 325xi, and here recently Ive started having a weird issue. Sometimes while I'm driving, my car will suddenly stop accelerating, like something is manually slowing down my car under the hood. During this, if I put my foot in the gas, it doesnt bring the rpms up for a few seconds. Any ideas on what this problem could be?

Are you able to or have you tried pulling the codes?

The only codes my car is pulling is o2 sensors codes. And I was told that might not be exactly what the codes mean. I would have to go back to a garage to get the exact ones. I don't have a obd2 reader of my own.

Check your fuel pressure, sounds like a failing fuel pump.
Local AutoZone should offer free diagnostic scan, have them also clear the codes.
They offer loaner tools, so a fuel pressure gauge would be helpful.

Believe it or not I think my problem was caused by a loose screw. I noticed the clamp on my air intake had a loose screw and after tightening it down I havent had the issue anymore.
