Folks,
Bumping this thread as I've sold some of the accessories. I’m selling my 1999 e36 M3 because I just bought an e39 M5. Five cars, a three-car garage, and a wife not happy about moving stuff to get out of the garage. Price Reduced! Asking $8,500. Shipping and/or pick up on buyer. Car is in the Seattle area. You can run the VIN: WBSBG9338XEY80465 on the following site https://www.vehiclehistory.com/ for an overview or check Carfax on your own.
I bought it in 2006 with 90k on the clock and it just turned 133k on the clock. It’s my weekend warrior car. It’s tight, fast, and solid. Built for spirited canyon runs and DE’s. All maintenance following the old school schedule except for oil. Oil is so cheap so I change it every 3k miles or two track weekends. Whichever comes first.
The Basics: Silver with Black Interior. Paint is pretty good. Vader seats in good shape but the headliner is falling down.
Upgrades:
1. Alpine head unit with Harmon Kardon speakers.
2. Wheel set from a 1995 M3. Runs a square 245/40ZR-17 size all around. Including the spare.
3. Brand New (less than 500 miles) Hankook Ventus R-S3 all around.
4. Bilstein sport shocks with Eibach springs.
5. Stainless lines and Hawk HPS pads.
6. Oil Pump Nut done with VAC Oil Pan Baffle. Magnetic Drain Plug.
7. Vorshlag Nylon Motor Mounts.
8. UUC Polyurethane Tranny Mounts with Enforcement Cups.
9. Eibach Front Strut Brace
10. JT Design Aluminum Under Panel
11. BMW X-Brace
12. Mason Engineering Rear Strut Brace with reinforcement plates.
13. UUC Adjustable Sway Bars front and rear.
14. Replaced front wheel bearings at around 120k.
15. M50 manifold upgrade.
16. Short shift kit with Momo short knob.
17. Zionville Aluminum radiator
18. Conforti “Shark” Tune
19. Stewart Water Pump
20. Three gauge VDO cluster. Oil and Water Temp and Oil Pressure.
21. Stock airbox with K&N Filter.
22. Diamond Aluminum Floor Mats.
Known Issues:
1. Headliner is falling down. Needs to be replaced. Overall leather is good. Interior is somewhat tired like you would expect from an 18 year old car.
2. Airbag light is on. The passenger side pyro went off (scared the hell out of me) and haven’t had it replaced. Airbags are intact and have not deployed.
Lagniappe: For those of you not from New Orleans. A lagniappe (/ˈlænjæp/ lan-yap) is "a small gift given a customer by a merchant at the time of a purchase" (such as a 13th doughnut on purchase of a dozen), or more broadly, "something given or obtained gratuitously or by way of good measure."
I’m throwing this in with the purchase of the car.
1. Driver and Passenger Schroth four point harnesses.
2. A lightweight flywheel.
3. A BMW car cover for the car.
4. An additional pair of silver side skirts. They will need some repair to mount but they are good backups.
5. A set of four tie downs for trailering.
6. Garage Clean Out: Several pairs of partially used brake pads; some air, cabin and oil filters; Bently manual; a spare set of brake ducts; and anything else that I have in the garage for the car.
Feel free to ask any questions but I think I’ve covered everything as best as I could here. Throw me a reasonable offer. Wife is after me to move stuff. Thanks. Scott
