    I messed up. HELP!

Ok guys, so today I lifted my car up on jacks and made this boo boo.

I lifted the driver's side, dropped it on a jack. I lifted the passenger's side and suddenly the car shifted off the driver side jack and clipped a fuel line as seen in the pictures below. The issue is that this fuel line comes out from the frame of the car and I can't really see how to replace it.

Will I have to cut the line before the break and add a rubber hose with two clamps? Any thoughts/ideas?

    Thanks everyone.

I don't think that's a fuel line unless you have some engine configuration I am not familiar with, ie m42, m40, m21, etc... That's probably a fuel vapor line for the emissions equipment. So you can probably ignore your regrettable mistake.

Turn the car on and watch it. Does it spurt or leak fuel? Probably not.

If it does, get a brass barbed coupler and 2 hose clamps. Something like this and you'll be all right. Just make sure to run it for a few minutes and check it for leaks. Give it a few full throttle pushes, etc, watch it with a flash light.

If your e30 runs bad, switch to Megasquirt first. Then try new spark plugs, cap and rotor, wires, oxygen sensor, crank shaft position sensor, coolant temp sensor, air flow meter, idle control valve, throttle position sensor, digital motor electronics unit, harmonic balancer, fuel injectors, engine harness...

No, it's an m20b25. I directed my shop light towards the line and placed my phone underneath to record. I got in the car, turned it on, rev'd it to 3k and no fuel came out. I guess you are correct... So nothing to be worried about?

I wouldn't worry. If you smell fuel vapors and that annoys you, you can try wrapping it in duct tape.
