Replacing Master Cylinder: BMW Genuine ($$$) vs Aftermarket ($)

Just came back from NJMP and noticed while gridding the brake pedal went all the way down. Pump it few times and pedal travel returned to normal. On track car stopped fine although I wasn't pushing it neither coming down the main straight.

In any case I plan to use a pressure gauge to the master cylinder and calipers but if it turns out I do need to replace the master, can anyone comment on Mitelli or Ate brands? BMW genuine is $450 while the other 2 are $50-85. I'll spend the $400 if it means a more reliable braking system but at same time I've also used generic rotors (Ate, Zimmerman, etc) over BMW genuine and never had issues.

ATE is an OEM supplier. I bought a Centric brand MC for my E36 for a fraction of the cost of an OEM ATE. Guess what I got? An OEM ATE with the logo ground off.
