Lets see how much this will bother the purist's out there.
Right now its not fully "all there" but its mounted and works good for now.
Have to make some kind of boot for around the hand brake, get the cup-holders and make something for where the hazard button used to be.
Thinking about putting a usb/aux jack for my head unit for where the hazard button was, and making a leather boot for around the hand brake, nothing too wild.
Bought some suede for the interior of my car, but I think I changed my mind of using that material. Especially owning a husky, I get hair on everything.... and I dont even drive him around in my car.
Interior looks like garbage as you can tell at the moment, pretty messy. have had it uninsured for a couple weeks and have been fiddling with some things.
I'll post some cleaner pictures once I get it all together. just wanted to see what you guys thought.
Another thought for the empty hazard button hole was to maybe possibly throw this in there, but I dont know how "optimal" of a spot it would be for something like that. Would be kinda neat though.
Should of did the e34 arm rest . The e46 one looks ridiculously out of place

Yeah it really does look out of place. I'm all for upgrades but they need to suit the style of the e24. Top marks for trying though.

Not too shabby. Is it positioned well for shifting? How much cutting did you need to do?
It looks just a bit too far forward for me personally, but that's entirely due to me having long arms.
My plan from the beginning was to wrap it all in some sort of leather, suede or something haven't figured that part out yet. While I do that I can make all the lines line up and make it all flow better. In my opinion, It looks out of place because the "finish" on the different plastics is different, E46 is smoother. When I say wrap it all in leather I mean like this dude (But definitely not that color) , Let me know what you guys think of this idea.
The position for shifting works really well for me actually. The cutting wasn't too bad, had to cut the bottom of the arm rest a bit, because it wants to sit on top of the hand brake. Also, another cut was made on the center console part that gets hidden with the change holder insert thing if you're familiar. I could probably get some pictures for you if you'd like. it was very minimal though. The hand brake is functional as well and doesn't hit anything when you pull it.
