I just purchased a 2015 M4, which came with a full set of winter tires and rims. The rims are 19" and the tires seem awful large. I'm wondering if they'll fit this car - or if maybe some kind of mistake was made at the dealer where I purchased it.
The tires are 285/45R19 rear, 255/50R19 front. They are 2.5 inches taller on the rear and 3 inches taller on the front than a stock size Pilot Super Sport summer tire height.
Obviously I don't need them yet, but would like some advice on fitting these - again, they seem HUGE.
Look at the tire specs on the door jamb or ask your dealership.
Check TireRack also.
Thanks guys... had already checked for default specs. Have now learned more though... these wheels look like they will fit - but the tires will NOT. They are too tall. The dealer gave me the wrong set - but the set they want to trade me for is not nearly as nice. I am discussing with them that I expect to keep the wheels they sold me - but I will trade them the rubber so they get what they need and I get what I need.
I posted another thread, but now trying to ensure the wheels will fit. Same 19" diameter as stock, same 9" and 10" width as stock, same bolt pattern 5x120 as stock, but the offset is 30 instead of 40. That means they will sit a little further out (10mm to be exact). I am wondering if that's ok. Looks like it would be, and I have one opinion that it would be - but I don't want to be wrong. Any thoughts?
