LS / auto trans install - 4L60E 4L80E

i'm looking to install an LS / 4L60E combo in my e39 2001 525 touring.
I notice few of the swaps use an auto trans, and the ones that do use the larger 4L80e auto trans.

I already have engine mounts, but I'm looking for a trans mount. Does anyone have these mounts for a 4L60e or can you tell me the differences between a 4L60e and 4L80e mount?

I'd strongly suggest you drop the 4L60E from consideration. There is a reason that people in the LSx world are pulling their glass-jawed 60E's in favor of the beefier 80E. Can a 4L60E be built to hold some power? Yes they can but you are talking about numerous expensive upgrades and even so, the longevity still isn't there compared to even a stock build 4L80E. Full Disclosure: I built my 4L80E myself and I've never been inside any automatic trans before.

Building a solid E39 LS car is labor intensive enough without chasing trans issues.

thank you for your input... i'm looking to get this thing installed and running. The reason for my post is to gather info about how each transmission mounts... if the same mount works for either, i'm good... if not, at least i have a starting point. Just curious how differnce the mounting of the trans is for 4L60e vs 4L80e... If you have any info on that - i would appreciate hearing from you.
