I'm a new member. I posted my intro thread to the wrong location.
Found, I actually CANNOT delete it. And, When i attempted to post it to the correct location, It never got posted (And was never told WHY).
Please help. This is ridiculous.

Just don't be bothered by the fact that your other post still exists, while you did delete the contents of it
If you include a link or picture in it, the post will meed moderator approval when you're new. This is to keep the spammers out.

The original post is under the wrong thread tag. Which is why i deleted its contents, as I could not delete the whole post and relocate it.
I attempted to copy and paste to the correct thread location, but seemed as if it was not approved.
This is the cause of my irritations.

If your original post in in the wrong section the moderating staff will usually notice it and move it accordingly. But we are just people, we can't be everywhere at once so you need to give us time to be able to move it, message us directly if you want it moved faster. You can also not delete your own threads. You can post or message us a link to the thread and we can delete it or move it.

When you went to try to post a second thread, the anti-spam software was flagged because a new member tried to post multiple threads just after joining. We are one of the larger auto forums out there and as such get a lot of spam, joining then immediately posting a few threads is what spam bots do, so our software is set up so that after specific behaviour your posts need to be approved by one of the moderating staff. They will see it, approve it, and it will be visible to everyone shortly.

Alright. Starting to get a feel for how the site works, and how it's ran. The app is still a bit puzzling to use, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it.
