NLA PARTS BEEN RESEARCHING FOR TWO DAYS
Anyone try to make a filler plate to fit between black cover n smaller but similar fogs?
I ordered a set this was supposed to fit but too small n fall right thru cover.
for 6/86 production 635
TIA
It'll probably take you awhile to find original replacements. I found an NOS pair a few years ago but had to pay ~$300, and had to be quick about it. Some more will probably eventually show up, if you can wait. Just keep searching the BMW forums (I think they were also used on E30 M3s) and eBay.
Anyone check with Bav Auto? It wasn't too long ago (maybe a year ago) I bought a pair from them, and they had a choice of ZKW. Bosch, or Hella.

I know it took me a while to find one for my M6. I found that places would list them as being in stock but, confuse the 635 with the M thinking that an E24 is an E24 but in reality the fogs for the M cars are much harder to find.
Don't forget to search German, United Kingdom, Poland and other Euro country's EBay sites.

Before i bought the new pair, I wrapped the old, sandblasted ones (one even had a small crack) in vinyl film. Made them look a lot better:

I used two layers to get the color I wanted, and a heat gun is needed. Pretty simple job, though.
