Has anyone s52 swapped a e34 525it?

Hey so last month my m3 was totalled, however my complete drivetrain was fine so i decided to to keep it and swap a e34 touring but i havent found much information for the swap. What parts do i need to buy for the swap and which of my m3 parts wont work?

im currently in the middle of this swap right now. what i found on google is good but theirs a bunch that is not documented.

what year 525 are you using if it has the m20 in it then its gonna be more involved then if it has an m50. I have the m20 motor 525 and its a huge pain in the a** because the body harness plug does not match the engine harness i also had to buy alot more parts to swap the s52 to obd 1 which is what you will want to do as the m50 intake manifold will yield more power then the s52. but if you are removing the m50 from the e34 then you should have everything you need to do the swap.

I did a S50 swap on my Touring... if you have 525i it would be an easy swap.
