Hey everybody just curious, is it possible to update the front end of a 2011 e92 m3 to the newer (post 2014) m3 front end? the f80 i think. I love the look of the 2011 i just really want those newer headlights, im not worried about the cost as much as i am a clean easy job that wont require any deep modifications to the car itself like damaging other panels or custom cutting of the corner panels or something. It seems like a new bumper, grill + new headlights may just "snap in to place" so to speak due to sizes being the same, but maybe i am way off. i need to replacet he bumper anyway due to the carbon fiber getting completely shredded by a spare truck tire shot in to my front end at 80 MPH. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. if its not an easy job what would be involved? Thanks in advance! (i hope)
There's NO WAY it'll be an easy project. Totally different cars.
Some have put the 1M bumper on but the ducts don't line up.
That's about it.
