Hi guys, Instead of replacing the M62tu in a 2000 E38 I am considering throwing in a built Chevy 350 I had in my Jag. I would like to keep the 5hp24 so I'll need a bellhousing adapter and spacers. Also I'll need the wiring info and motor mount and exhaust info (sbc has ram horns exhaust manifold currently). Currently the engine is carbureted so I will have to decide whether to swap to injection and what can of worms this will run into My budget is extremely limited so I'd like to do this as economically as possible. I can more than likely fabricate the bell housing adapter but having the specs for it would be a huge boon. I was going to find a kit car for the engine/tranny(th350) and jag rear end I kept but I'm catching slack for having the parts in my yard and need to make a plan. I did not like the Th350 without ODrive in the jag and was planning a 700r4 swap but never got to that. And for some weird reason the th350 seems to be going for a decent price that will offset some of my costs.
Can you guys help me out with links for this info and for for any info I issues I'll run into like PS/Air brackets and such. Thanks for the help in advance.
