First time posting here as just recently started driving my father in laws 2014 428i.
I've gone through all the menus, read the manual, tried different modes etc, and can't figure out how to activate the tachometer. Starting to think it might have an electrical issue or I haven't figured out the trick.
The tach will slowly creep up in eco mode, and past the ready line to 1k.
Just curious if there is a reset I can do, or if there is legitimately an issue.
Thanks!
If you have a tach that doesn't read past 1,000 RPM, and you're car is a '14, then it is probably still in the factory warranty period, and you should take it in for service. There's nothing you can do to the tach thru the iDrive.
